Thankfully, our package with Centurion Palace includes basically everything except our photographer and the flowers. I still get to deal with each vendor individually if I need to, so I'll see if I can remember all of them.
Leslie Spurlock Photography
I'd seen Leslie's work awhile before i started searching for my own wedding photographer. I started doing photography part time, so started joining photography groups. Every time I saw some of Leslie's new work I was blown away. I had like, a top 5, of choices i thought i could go with and afford. I started searching for availability, and Leslie threw her name out there. I think I jumped out of my chair! She took our engagement pictures and she did not let me down. I loved them. I'm so excited for her to shoot the wedding and see who she brings with her as a second shooter.

Cakes by Jula
I had two choices for cakes. I thought I'd be going with Cake Affairs, but since we booked with Centurion, they had added another cake vendor, Cakes by Jula. I looked at both websites, and i looked at reviews for both places. Seriously, I'm a google freak, i found everything there was. I ended up going with Jula, as she was closer to the venue, and the cake would have less distance to travel. I'm glad i did too. She's got such a bubbly personality. She'll be doing my cake (see details page), and we're also having her do the groom's cake.

Access Wedding Pastors
Originally, I already had a pastor in mind. But, we ultimately we went with the pastors that were included in our package. So far so good. We won't meet them until the day of the wedding, but I've already corresponded with 2 of the pastors there. Our pastor for the day of will be Orin Flynn and I'm confident things will be smooth sailing. We were able to pick the exact wedding wording from their website by combining the several ceremonies they have as examples. That was really cool.

David's Bridal
I got my dress at David's Bridal. People give very mixed reviews of David's Bridal... but it's all in the salespeople. My opinion will be biased, as I got to buy my dress from Justin's aunt. I also bought my silver shoes there as well as a tattoo cover up kit which i havent used yet. Another thing you'll find different at David's Bridal is the managers. Some are cool, some are not. Justin's aunt works at the 45/1960 store and has a very cool manager. She let me exchange my veil when i decided i wanted a longer one as opposed to the elbow length one I had originally purchased.
Alfred Angelo
We got the bridesmaid dresses from Alfred Angelo. We went to the store at 45/Nasa Rd 1. We went on a weeknight...so i thought there wouldnt be as many people there and I could get some good service. I was wrong. No one hardly there, but no one seemed to want to help us either. But, I was running out of time, and had to pick something, so we did. The dresses came in when they said they would, if not earlier, so that's good.
Angel Tailors
They are located at FM 518 & Cullen in Pearland, next to Kroger. I had thought about using them anyway, and with the recommendation from another knottie and a co-worker, i went ahead. The lady there was very sweet and funny and they worked very fast. I had a bustle done, fabric sewn into the top, and the neckline tightened, and i had my dress back a week later. I'd lost some weight and i need the neckline taken in some more, so ill be making one more trip back. FI's mom took her dress for the wedding there as well, it has a silver lace overlay, and had it hemmed and fitted for her, and she got her dress back in less than a week and loves it.
The Knot.com
I bought some cameras for the flower girls and my napkins from the knot. I was a little agravated when i tried to check the status of the orders. I could not get it to work with me logging in and checking order history, so i had to dig through emails and find my order number. Once I found it and it pulled up the order, it just said "in process." So i really had no clue about my order. But, once it arrived, i was satisfied. The napkins look great and i can't wait to use them!
